For a long time I was contemplating on what to write for my 300th post. I have came to conclusion that only one thing can be written, and that only one thing deserves to be written, and it has happened almost exactly 2 months ago. I became father.
And not only that, I became father of twins, boy and a girl. I can not express myself what feeling it is. Literally, my life has turn 180 on me in a matter of seconds. Although we expected twins, once they arrived, all previous plans simply vanished, and now they became the focal point of our life.
I sleep as they sleep, in intervals of three to four hours, I eat when they sleep, I do all my stuff in coordination with their schedule. And I must say, I never regretted one second of it. Life is to short to pass on these great moments. I intend to spend every possible free second with my wife and our children.
On the other side, it is MVP renewal time of the year for me. I have sent in my contributions and now I wait for the decision. I hope to renew this year because my wife already made a list of things (children wardrobe, shoes for her ..) I have to buy next February when I go to Seattle for another MVP Summit. So Ale (my MVP lead), be careful what you decide to do with my application this year.
In a couple of day we will all be moving to the south for deserved vacation.
Have a great summer and here is one great quote from Peter Ustinov: ”Children are the only form of immortality that we can be sure of”.
