Microsoft Mesh

Just recently I discovered one more wonderful andá free Microsoft on-line service. It is called Mesh ( It is free for all, and all you need is Microsoft Live ID account. Be advised that this is still Beta product, but I have been using it for a while and I did not have any problems. Main goal of this service is to share data among multiple computers or hand held devices. There is even support for Mac computers.

The installation and usage is very simple. Once you sign in you can add computers and other devices to the Mesh. When you add new device it installs client software that will be used to access shared data and synchronize with other devices. You can create shared resource directly on the local computer or on the virtual desktop in the on-line Mesh application. Great thing is that you can control to which devices you want to synchronize your virtual desktop content, and you can even use drag and drop between virtual and real desktop. Of course, you can invite other users to share data with. One thing that I liked most is the ability to remotely connect to my computer via IE web browser. If you ever used LogmeIn you will know what I’m talking about. čÖé I am not using LogmeIn anymore! čÖé I highly recommend everyone to try this new exciting Microsoft technology.
